Sharon Woods park

Yesterday we took the kids to the park. First we went on a walk through the woods, Sami was afraid because she thought there would be bears. We kept telling her there was not any bears in the trees, but she was not buying it. Then we went over to the playground, where we were for sure the minority. The kids do not even seem to notice.

Learning to Ride

We decided to take Stockton's training wheels off, we ran behind him once or twice and then Jake taught him how to use the curb. He was getting cocky so Jake dared him to go off the curb. I said no and the next thing I saw was him jumping the curb. He really loved it, and he is very proud of himself!!!

Slipping and Sliding

The slip-n-slides these days are pathetic. We had to make some slight modifications to make it a little better.

Hadyn Hiding

I came downstairs and freaked out because I couldn't see Hadyn. I asked Jake where she was and he said "I'm pretty sure she is somewhere within 3 feet of me, I can hear her."

This is where she was.

Bruised Hadyn

Hadyn started crawling about 4-5 weeks ago, her new obsession is standing up. This is how we found her today, we were in the room and didn't even hear her get up there. The bruises on her face are starting to add up.

Gahanna Fireworks

After our pathetic backyard fireworks, we decided to go to the city firework show. It was actually really good.

Our Firework Show

We bought one of those cheap fireworks packages from the grocery store. At first we thought they were defective because all they did was make a lot of smoke. After reading the names and looking on the internet, it turns out that is all you can get in Ohio. Sami was disgusted by all the smoke as you can tell by the pictures. We were forced to use sparklers for the grand finale.

Springtime in Ohio

The girls out enjoying some sun. Hadyn is getting big and we have decided she is big for her age, the little girl next to her is 2 months older than her. Syd had a lot of fun with Hannah and Brendan, Hannah got the Jeep for her birthday and loves to share. The jeep has a fm radio in it, I wish we had these when we were kids. I love it here in the spring all the trees make it feel like we live in a jungle..

Goodbye Ryry

Ryan Borg
Our dreamer, Ryan William Borg, went on to fulfill more dreams on May 1st 2008. Ryan was born to Dennis and Susan Borg on August 25, 1984 in San Diego, California.
Ryan loved sports and played them all until he found his favorite sport which was wrestling.
He wrestled all through junior high and high school. He was awarded the Granite award two years in a row for never missing a practice. He attended Mountain View High School and graduated in the class of 2003. He loved snowboarding, golfing, skydiving and making fun of the way people eat. Ryan was known for his hilarity, goofy antics and imitations which triggered family and friends into side-splitting fits of laughter and joy.
Ryan was married on June 25, 2005 to Abby Christ, they were later divorced. Ryan was always looking for a way to help others and as a registered organ donor, Ryan's life will now make it possible for many others to have a second chance at life.
Ryan is survived by his parents; his brother Steven; his sisters Becky (John), Jami (Jake). Nieces Syd, Sami & Hadyn. Nephew Stockton, his Nana Sutton and many family and friends who will miss him dearly. We love you Ryry and can't wait until we see you again.
Words will never describe how much I am going to miss you. I keep hearing over and over in My head you saying "mimi", you always called me mimi and I loved it. You will always be my Ryry and I know I will see you again but i am going to miss you so much until I see you again. I love you Ryry!!

Amish Country

Last Sunday we decided to take a drive to Amish Country. We went to Holmes county which is the largest Amish population. As we were driving the kids were wondering what Amish people were. I told them that the Amish kids did not have a Nintendo DS or Wii or even electricity to have T.V. They were shocked to know that this was possible. Sami did not quite understand but she kept saying "Are we going to see some Amishes."

Stockton's Soccer Video

Stockton is #24.

Notice how well the skipping goes with the music. We have determined that this song plays in his head 24 hours a day.

My Brother

As most of you know my brother Ryan is in a coma, it has been almost two weeks. He has made a little progress at least to us. When I went out to Utah I was saying good bye to him and he moved his arm, I know he was trying to let me know he knew I was there. Ryan is a fighter and I know that he will continue to fight. Thank you everyone for praying for him, he needs all the prayers he can get. Please also pray for my family they are spending all there time in the hospital with him. We are so lucky to have such a close family. When things like this happen it makes you realize how important your family is. So to all of my friends and family make sure you tell your loved ones how much you love them, because you never know what tomorrow may bring

Our Hollywood girls

So Sami as I have mentioned before is in love with sunglasses. The Easter Bunny brought her a new pair, I thought it would be cute to put them on Hadyn. She actually liked them and we went outside the other day and it was sunny so I put them on her. She kept them on for a long time. I wish I had my other pictures because I have a picture of Syd around Sami's age with sunglasses on it is so cute. Someday when I have all my stuff in one place I will be able to put fun things together, someday.
