Uncle Steven and I went to our Favorite store TARGET and he bought a bunch of fun things for the kids. He came back in January but for some reason I forgot that we had taken these pictures. Thanks Uncle Steven for coming and hangin out with us we love when you come to visit.

Syd's first Sleepover

Sydney had her first Sleepover with a friend. I always have said no sleepovers
just with family. Since we do not have any family by us I decided I would
let Ada sleepover they were really good and I think they were asleep by
ten so we were happy. Dad took Sydney to buy ice cream and I got them a
little craft and the Movie Highschool Musical 3. They both want to be singers
and you can often find them writing songs. These two or always together, we love
Ada and will be sad when we move.

Basketball Game

We surprised the kids and went to an Ohio State game last night, they loved it. Sami's favorite part was definitely Brutus the mascot.

For those of you who don't know Ohio State sports, the third picture spells O-H-I-O

Bebe and John here for Valentines Day they really spoiled us.
Thanks for all the yummy dinners and fun times. We love you.

Hadyn's 4-wheeler

It was 65 degrees today before the rain began.  Hadyn wanted to try Sami's 4-wheeler.  She kind of got the hang of it but then it started raining which she didn't really like.

Crazy Hair Day

Sydney and Stockton had crazy hair day at School today.
I let them decide what they wanted to do. As you can see
it really was crazy. Stockton said the kids on the bus laughed at him,
But that everyone else was sad because there mom's did not let them
have crazy hair. Sydney said everyone loved her hair even one of the
boy teachers. They have been thinking of what they were going to do
for like a month. I am glad they had fun!!

Snowboard Part 2

Stockton thought his skills weren't on full display in the first movie so we had to do another.

Hadyn was scared to death her first time.

Then she couldn't decide if she liked it or not.

After a few times she started to smile.

Finally got to use the sleds!

The kids have been waiting to use the sleds they got from Uncle Brad since Christmas. We finally got enough freezing rain (and a little bit of snow) to make it work. They sledded for a couple hours then Syd decided to snowboard.

The only injury so far is Jake's pride.

New Playhouse

Sami's playhouse she got for Christmas was a huge hit, with all four kids. Unfortunately it was not big enough for four kids. So they decided to use all their Christmas money and get another house, actually a castle. We don't quite remember who sent money but THANKS!

Between the playhouses and the geotrax, it is hard to walk around their rooms.

Hadyn mostly just wanted to climb on top of all the boxes...

But once Sami's playhouse was set up, Hadyn did not leave it the rest of the day.

Syd's favorite

Syd was pretty surprised with her favorite gift.

Sami's favorite gift

Gingerbread houses

So I have been wanting to make Gingerbread houses for awhile but I did not know how. Keith and Sydney came to visit this last weekend and Sydney is a pro and taught me how to make them. I decided this is going to be a tradition in our home, it was so much fun. Stockton keeps asking me when he can eat it. Sydney, Sami and Daddy made there house together and Stockton and Grandma made the other. Later when we were all done Sydney realized her wood pile made out of tootsie rolls was nearly gone, we never saw Sami take them but she admitted to it. Later she went up to grandma and grandpa and said "Gosh I just really like tootsie rolls" in her attitude voice. Thanks Grandma for teaching me how to make them.
