Hadyn helping Mom

Hadyn has developed a little OCD in the last week or two. Her favorite thing to do is take all of the shoes out of the shoe bin, then put them all back in. She gets really upset if she can't fit them all back in.

She decided to do the same thing with the clothes basket tonight. She had a few pieces of clothes that she kept taking out and putting back in for about an hour. Then I came out with a completely full basket and her eyes lit up like it was Christmas. The basket started out completely full and she handed each piece to me. This is the video of what happened as the basket got close to empty.

Jake turned 28 and Jami turned 27, yipee!
We both had great birthdays, As you see September is a big month for birthdays in our family. Thanks everyone for all the calls and cards.

Kalahari Water Park

Bebe and John came out last weekend. We had planned to go on a little vacation when they got here, Becky saw Kalahari on the news in Utah (its the largest indoor water park) so we thought it would be fun. We had such a great weekend the first day we were there John rented us all a Cabana it was so great to have a TV and fridge and nice chairs. Thanks John and Becky!!! The kids had so much fun so did the grown ups, they had a lot of fun water slides the kids loved the blue mat one that you would race each other. There was also a toilet bowl one that the adults loved. Hadyn went on her first waterslide and loved it, she would smile so big each time they were done. Stockton loved when John would launch him in the wave pool, Sydney loved it everywhere she just loves being in the water. Sami loved the water and the little slides, she would go down the slides with Bebe and plug her nose before they would get to the bottom. Bebe and John we are so glad you came to see us, we love you so much, thanks for such a great weekend!!

Hadyn went to the doctor today. At 6 months she was in the 90th percentile in weight and height. Now she is 70th in height and 20th in weight. If she would ever stop racing around maybe she wouldn't be so skinny.

7 has really done something for Syd

So everyone that knows Syd knows that she has hated her hair to be brushed no matter what. Well lets just say all of her seven years she has cried every time I have brushed it. Well today she washed her hair and I let it air dry for awhile and then I told her I needed to brush it and I even got the hard brush as she calls it. I started brushing and then she said "oh mom that feels good." I just about died. I brushed it for about five minutes just because she loved it. Today is a great day for me!!!

Labor Day at the ZOO

Today we thought we would try to do something fun with the kids. The zoo is always a fun place to go, they added a water park and rides. So we let the kids ride some they really loved the log ride, and it was great that we all got wet cause it was really hot. Sydney went with dad and she was a little scared but really liked it once it was over. Then Stockton and I went on it he loved every minute of it and kept asking me if I was scared. Sami got to ride on the tea cups because she was not tall enough, so tonight at dinner she asked for more green beans so she can ride on the log ride next year. Hadyn watched from the stroller and never cried a bit. She is such an easy baby to take anywhere.

Football Season!!!

The kids, and Jake, have been getting really excited about "the buckeye games" for about a week now. Stockton was really mad when I forgot to have him wear his jersey to school on Friday because all the kids and teachers do. He said he absolutely has to wear it every Friday before football games. When we woke up Saturday morning and Jake said the game was on in a couple hours they all ran and got their clothes on. Hadyn's outfit doesn't really fit anymore, it's more of a shirt now.

The other day my friend Angie and I took our kids to the Easton fountain to cool off. The kids loved it until these guys dressed in birds came around. Sami burst into tears and would not go back into the water because she was so scared of the birds. We left early because Sami could not calm down. Sad little girl and those stupid bird/guys kept coming around her come on are they that stupid they do not realize they are scaring a little girl.

Happy Birthday RYRY

Today would have been Ryry's 24th birthday. Today I just kept hearing over in my head "hey mimi." I wish ryan was still here with us I still wake up sometimes thinking that this is all a bad dream and he is not gone. But the truth of the matter is no matter how hard you wish for something it is never going to happen. Ryry was the life of the party in our family he always made us laugh. But at the same time had the sweetest most sensitive heart in the family. I love you ryry and I wish I could call you on your cell and talk to you so bad. Sometimes I just want to think that you are still in Hawaii. Maybe you are in spirit. I hope you are happy and having a good birthday. Tonight when we let the balloons off for him Sami kept saying I love you ryry again and again. She wanted him to answer but I told her if he could he would tell her he loved her too.

Stockton's 1st day of school

 

 

 

Stockton started school last friday. He came home and was so tired he went to bed at 7. Then today he tried to tell me that he was sick and he could not go to school. haha That is his cute teacher, I think she is a perfect match for stockton she seems really fun. I think he is going to have a great year.

Samantha's Flower garden

 

The other day the kids were out riding bikes and I decided I was sick of just sitting there watching them. So I decided I would be a kid again, Taylor and I used to always draw flowers and so I thought I would draw samantha a garden. Then Sami wanted me to draw her, I am not a very good artist so we traced her.

Syd's 1st day of school

 

 

Sydney started school last tuesday, she loves it. Her first comment when she came home was that her teacher is so funny. She said that they can even laugh in class. Sydney is going to love first grade.

Digital Scrapbooking

So I have been doing my primary newsletters with all my digital scrapbooking stuff, and I decided that maybe I should actually scrapbook more. It really is a lot of fun. I don't have a lot of room to get out all my real scrapbook stuff so this is a great way to do it instead. Plus it is free always a plus..

My Baby is not such a baby anymore

We put Hadyn in a forward facing carseat this week. She absolutely loved it, she giggled for the first 10 min. Jake was driving and I kept looking back and she would laugh at me. Oh I love this little girl she is such a good baby. She will always be my baby wether she likes it or not.

Welcome home Syd

The kids were so excited for Sydney to get home, we had to make her a sign.
Sami and Stockton were on cloud nine when she got home. Stockton told her that he will never fight with her again, that lasted all of about 5 minutes. We are glad to have you home Syd!!

The Beach

We took the kids to the Lake the other day, they loved it. Hadyn sat in her stroller watching the birds, she loves to watch birds it is so cute. I sat on the beach and watched it was kind of breezy and I was cold (imagine that) just sitting there. The kids did not seem to mind they were just in heaven in the water.

Kids fest

I took the kids to the mall on saturday just to get something and what would you know they were having kids fest. I told the kids we would go, they saw free face painting and they wanted to do that first. Well after the hour and 1/2 wait they decided that was enough of the kid fest. Sami was in Heaven with her princess flowers and Stockton thought he was pretty cool with his ball and bat. Sami was very sad to wash it off, she asked me if I could paint it on her arm everyday. Please tell me this is not the first signs of her wanting a tatoo.
