Sami plays with Syd or Stockton's Nintendo DS every day, so when she got a game of her own for christmas, she didn't quite get what else she was getting with it until Syd told her.

Gingerbread houses

 

 

 

So I have been wanting to make Gingerbread houses for awhile but I did not know how. Keith and Sydney came to visit this last weekend and Sydney is a pro and taught me how to make them. I decided this is going to be a tradition in our home, it was so much fun. Stockton keeps asking me when he can eat it. Sydney, Sami and Daddy made there house together and Stockton and Grandma made the other. Later when we were all done Sydney realized her wood pile made out of tootsie rolls was nearly gone, we never saw Sami take them but she admitted to it. Later she went up to grandma and grandpa and said "Gosh I just really like tootsie rolls" in her attitude voice. Thanks Grandma for teaching me how to make them.

Hadyn Dancing

This one is funny for a lot of reasons;

-This is Hadyn's favorite song, by far.
-Hadyn had just seen Sydney dancing on that mat 2 hours earlier for the first time.
-Anyone who has seen Sami's dances at the same age will notice the similarities.
-Watch Hadyn get ready to sing the chorus, then belt it out.



If you noticed the large Iguana under the christmas tree, that is to keep Hadyn away, she is extremely scared of it. It has worked perfectly so far.

Christmas Shopping

We finished the last of our christmas shopping last night, and we never even left the house.  Good thing or Jake would have had to "tend" the kids while I went shopping, and that never goes very well.

Family night

 

Tonight for Family night we decided to decorate the tree. The kids loved it, they are all so excited for Christmas.

Sydney's Indian Girl

 

Sydney made this cute little Indian Girl at school today. Sydney loves art she is always so creative. Most of her time is spent at the desk coloring things.

Hammy and Poppy

 

 

My Mom and Dad came out to visit. They came just in time for Halloween, Mom helped carve the pumpkins and Dad got here the night before Halloween. The kids were so happy to have Hammy and Poppy here to go with them. Dad the kids loved the Karate kid stories, and mom they all loved you laying by them at night. While they were here we had so much fun we went to the park and had the best weather. Thanks Mom and Dad we had so much fun with you, I also loved all the help with the kids. I miss my naps I got while you were here.

Stockton had his pumpkin as frankinstein and Sydney's was a witch. Sami wanted hers to be a ballerina and Hadyn well she did not care so much. Actually Syd carved Hadyn's all by herself, she did a great job.

While hammy shan was here I thought we would take the kids to the pumpkin patch, they had a lot of fun playing with all the cool things. Stockton loved the tractor and syd loved the climbing rope but it was so cold her hands hurt. Sami loved the rocking horses and Well Hadyn she was so good in the stroller once again. Then Hammy Shan bought them all a pumpkin. Thanks Hammy Shan!

Hadyn Finally Walks

Hadyn finally started taking some steps today.

Update on Sami's Dance

 

 

So Sami cried the first time she went to ballet, but she loves it now. I think she asks me 5 times a day if it is thursday so she can go to Dance. I am going to take my camera this week and get a little peek for all of you, it really is fun to watch her.
